On behalf of the McMaster Institute for Transportation and Logistics (MITL) we invite you to participate in our 1st Annual International TRANSLOG 2009 Conference (Transportation and Logistics) – an innovative program that will attract professionals from around the world to Hamilton, Ontario, June 17th-18th, 2009.  The conference offers an opportunity to share knowledge, perspectives and innovation with colleagues and to learn about the latest developments in transportation research and practice in addressing critical transportation and logistics issues. Hamilton’s location within the Golden Horseshoe makes it an ideal location for this conference.   The region is located in an international hub of road, rail, water and air transportation systems and is fortunate to have an abundance of companies in the transportation and logistics sector.  Hamilton is also located in a strategic corridor with respect to the United States border and the heart of Canada’s most densely populated and most economically intensive area, the Greater Toronto Area.  The conference will provide many opportunities for interaction with speakers and other attendees, including speaker presentations, panel session, poster sessions and breakout sessions.
